It is with profound regret that we announce the postponement of this weekend’s Veterans Living With Cancer event, previously scheduled for March 1, 2025. After careful and thoughtful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to cancel, driven by the significant challenges we have encountered. These include obstacles in navigating unforeseen government funding and administration restrictions and addressing partnership limitations resulting from the uncertainty surrounding recent policy changes that have impacted veteran-facing organizations.
While these challenges have been formidable, we remain hopeful that, as we gain greater clarity on these evolving circumstances, we will be able to move forward with a successful patient advocacy event in the near future. We fully understand the critical importance of the Veterans Living With Cancer program, and it is our unwavering mission to ensure veterans have the education, resources, and support they need to navigate a cancer diagnosis.
We are committed to continuing this vital mission and are optimistic about hosting this essential event in the months ahead. We will keep you informed as we finalize additional details.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this decision may cause and deeply appreciate your understanding and support.
